Beyond the Face: Tattoo Coverage and Root Touch-Ups for Flawless Photos

When we think of professional makeup, we naturally think of the face: the eyes, the lips, the complexion. But in the world of High-Definition (HD) photography and 4K video, the "canvas" often extends much further.
At Kyle Farr Aesthetics, we specialize in the details that others overlook. Whether it’s a tattoo that clashes with your wedding dress or roots that are showing up on camera, our technical artistry ensures that nothing distracts from your moment.
Here is how we go beyond the face to perfect your look.
Professional Tattoo Coverage
We love body art, but we also understand that it might not fit the specific aesthetic of your wedding day or a corporate photoshoot. Attempting to cover a tattoo with standard concealer often leads to disaster—it can look "cakey," turn gray, or worst of all, rub off onto your expensive gown.
The Kyle Farr Aesthetics Method
- Color Correction First: We use color theory to neutralize the blue/black ink of the tattoo using peach or orange pigments. This prevents the tattoo from looking "bruised" or gray under the foundation.
- Skin Matching: We custom blend pigments to match your body’s skin tone perfectly (which is often different from your face).
- Transfer-Resistant: The alcohol-based formula dries down to a durable finish. It is designed to resist friction, meaning you can hug guests and wear white without fear of transfer.
Root & Hairline Touch-Ups
- Blending Roots: If you couldn't make it to the salon before the big event, we can temporarily blend your roots to match your hair color.
- Fuller Hairline: For updos or pulled-back styles, we can fill in sparse areas around the hairline. This simple trick makes hair look significantly thicker and creates a more youthful frame for the face in photographs.
